Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, your name, and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider).
• What you save in the app: favourite teams, and the slips you save (the picks, our chances and when you saved them). Slips hold no odds, amounts or money.
• Billing details: your subscription status and payment history. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and logs of requests and errors, used to keep the service running and secure.
• Cookies: we use cookies to keep you signed in. If we add privacy-friendly usage analytics, we'll update this policy first.

How we use it

• to run your account and show your saved teams and slips;
• to bill your subscription and handle cancellations;
• to answer support requests and send service emails (like receipts, password resets and important changes);
• to keep the service secure and prevent abuse;
• to fix problems and improve the service.

Who we share it with

Only with providers that help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use of your data: hosting (Vercel), database and login (Supabase), payments (Stripe), and email delivery. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is sold, your information would move to the new owner under this policy.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting, which are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your details in your account settings, and delete your account at any time. You can also email support@goalmetrix.com to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, Colorado and other US states with privacy laws), you may have further rights; we'll honour them. If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Age

GoalMetrix is only for people 21 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, email support@goalmetrix.com and we'll delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, and providers with strong security. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.

Where your data is stored

Our providers store data in the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information will be handled in the US.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
